The International Charitable Foundation “SAINT SOPHIA SPACE” is a community of people united by common life principles and priorities. We are convinced that unlike social phenomena that ruin people’s lives, there is a positive force that causes changes in life for the better. To the best of our ability, we act directing our forces, knowledge and material goods so that the people with whom we unite have a change of life for the better, a smile appears on their faces, there is the possibility of a new life, and the problems subsided.
We are not a religious organization, but the members of our charity are people for whom the Commandments of God are not empty, sound or formal rules. We try to show others with our life, our behavior and our activities that it is really possible to love others without self-interest, that lying and selfishness are a shameful phenomenon in our society, which unfortunately is becoming more and more dominant.
Despite the presence of a large number of various foundations and charities in Ukraine, whose activities play a role, and since the state is still unable to provide decent living conditions for all segments of the population, the number of mutilated lives and the crying of children grows and the desperation of parents, defenseless old women. Therefore, there was a need for our creation.
The Fund’s activities include assistance to the needy; those who are in trouble or in difficulty; fell ill or faced problems in life that he could not solve on his own. We do not impose ourselves on anyone, but if we see that someone needs our help, we come and help. They can come to us in the same way, and we will try to do everything possible to make that person feel supported, cared for and helped, willing to share their problems and solve them together.
Orphans, people suffering from severe enemies, the elderly, those who are in a difficult financial situation – this is not a complete list of those whom we help and try to change their lives for the better every day.
We are convinced that our work is extremely necessary and useful. As true Christians, we are convinced that everyone in life should help their neighbor and do good. Sometimes even a “drop” of kindness and love can cost much more than houses, cars or jewelry, because this “drop” allows another person to look at the world differently, instills Faith, Hope and Love. And when each of us sees that our common cause is really bearing fruit, and the number of smiles on our faces increases around us, then this is the main reward that cannot be measured by the criterion of material values.
